Using the QR codes was something I am familiar with since I have used them in my graduate program before. We actually had our undergrads use the codes to navigate themselves around campus on a scavenger hunt. However I never got a chance to see how they were made since that was done by administration. It was cool to see them being put together and a left you thinking of how to use them in a classroom setting.
If you are interested in making your own QR Codes here is a QR Code for you to scan and bring you to the site.
I defiantly agree with you that making these portfolios will benefit us in interviews! We work so hard in College we should want to display everything that we do. And it's good to know you have past experiance with QR codes, because I now know who to ask for help if i get stuck :).
ReplyDeleteTony, sorry to hear you lost most of your work after graduation. Hopefully learning how to make portfolios will encourage you to make a new one for your personal work aside from this class's work.
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with you when you say you will use a future portfolio for interviews and things of that sort.
Unfortunately, I did not know much of QR codes like you do. The project due for next class should be a piece of cake for you then. Good Luck and look forward to read more of your blogs.
It is great that you will be able to keep all your work from this class. You are off to a great start. I am looking forward to seeing some awesome QR code projects.
